We serve on the board of the Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety to address emerging climate risks. The IBHS conducts independent research into building safety, contributing to the development of climate-resilient materials and construction methods. Our involvement with IBHS positions us to pioneer solutions to better protect our customers and communities against the challenges posed by a changing climate.
Championing innovation & resilience
To expand on our climate risk data advantage, we sponsor the XPRIZEWildfire competition, a four-year $11 million competition aimed at tackling the escalating wildfire problem. By incentivizing the innovation of firefighting technologies and promoting early detection, we are committed to ensuring effective management of high-risk fires, thereby safeguarding communities against climate-related threats and promoting resilience.
